BENEFICIAL BEER CO.
Born out of a desire to give back what alcohol has quite happily taken away. We make quality non-alcoholic beer products that are as they say on the box...beer. We have a mission to give all beer drinkers good health, good products and a good planet to kickback and drink beer on. After-all, we're brewed for human kind.
After years of full-strength beers, it came time to cut back on the booze and lead a healthier life. One problem, we love beer but there wasn’t an alcohol-free option that had the flavour and mouth-feel we wanted. There are a few more options now, but we still aren’t content with the way they taste. Solution? We’ve made our own.
HOP NATION BREWING CO.
Hop Nation is independently owned and operated by good mates and former winemakers, Sam Hambour and Duncan Gibson. As a sustainably conscious craft brewery, we have cemented ourselves as a staple in Melbourne’s respected beer scene. With “In Hops We Trust” as our motto, we’re renowned for our innovative full-flavoured styles and experimental use of quality natural ingredients, with no fining or pasteurisation and minimal filtration.
The Hop Nation brand has rapidly grown since the release of its first ‘The Fiend’ IPA in 2015 and now consists of a solid core range of brews and an extensive list of limited-edition beers, as well as ’Ray Hard Seltzer, Site Wine, Dart Distilling Gins, and Dog Nation – a bone broth-based beer for pups.
We’re a small group of fun-loving humans, working together to create authentic brews for our craft beer community.

BIG SHED BREWING
Our Big Shed story starts in the Barossa, back in the year of 2002. Two loose units had the idea to brew a few cheeky beers for their mates to share, and before they knew it their shed was holding a lot more than just the cars. As mountains of brewing equipment, tools, hardware and the Scalextric track filled the shed, a brewing love affair began.
A new chapter began when the micro brewery moved from the old farmers shed to a rented warehouse in Royal Park, where Big Shed leapt to life. Countless hours were spent refining recipes and designs, before Big Shed’s first full scale beer, a batch of the FrankenBROWN was crafted. The FrankenBROWN remains a well-loved Big Shed brew to this day, joined in our core range by F-Yeah, Californicator and Kol Schisel.
